DESCRIPTION:The 10th edition of the ‘**Crystallography and Large Scale Fa
 cilities**’ school will take place at the** SOLEIL synchrotron **site 
 in Saint-Aubin from **2 to 6 November 2026.**\n\nThe main objectives of t
 his thematic school are to enable participants to reconnect with the funda
 mentals of crystallography: acquiring the theoretical foundations of cryst
 allography and its methods\, and using software for the determination and 
 refinement of crystal structures. All disciplinary fields utilising crysta
 llography are covered. It provides a state-of-the-art overview of the poss
 ibilities offered by various experimental methods and\, in particular\, at
  large scale facilities (i.e. synchrotron\, neutron and XFEL sources).\n\n
 At Master’s level\, it is aimed at PhD students\, postdoctoral researche
 rs\, engineers\, lecturer-researchers and researchers\, as well as current
  or potential users of major research facilities.\n\nThis five-day course 
 comprises lectures\, tutorials and practical sessions. It enables particip
 ants to quickly engage with applications and to link the training directly
  to their research work. The course also fosters close interaction with le
 cturers from major French laboratories specialising in crystallography and
  experts in their fields\, and facilitates exchanges with participants fro
 m various disciplines.\n\nThe course\, accommodation and meals will be pro
 vided at the SOLEIL synchrotron site. The language of instruction is Engli
 sh and places are limited to 27.
