DESCRIPTION:We invite scientists worldwide to submit proposals for general 
 user beamtime experiments at PAL-XFEL (Pohang Accelerator Laboratory – X
 -ray Free Electron Laser) from January to June 2027. \n\nPAL-XFEL has thr
 ee beamlines\, two for hard X-ray experiments (XSS: X-ray Scattering and S
 pectroscopy\, NCI: Nano Crystallography and Coherent Imaging) and one for
  soft X-ray experiments (SSS: Soft X-ray Scattering and Spectroscopy). \n
 \nThe access to PAL-XFEL is open to the international scientific community
 \, with the requirement that foreign users collaborate with Korean scienti
 sts being local contacts. \n\nAdditionally\, all applicants must contact
  PAL-XFEL staff scientists to discuss experimental details before submitti
 ng a beamtime proposal. \n\nThere is no fee for proposal submission\, but
  charges will apply when the experiment is conducted\, as per government p
 olicy. \n\nPlease register as a user of PAL and submit an application fo
 rm of the PAL-XFEL proposal via the website ([https://pal.postech.ac.kr/en
