Introduction to PGAA: Prompt-Gamma Neutron Activation Analysis and Neutron Imaging at BNC

Neutrons at BNC are used to study the composition and the macroscale structure of the materials in a non-destructive way. In the video, László Szentmiklósi shows the element analysis and imaging activities at the BNC, at the two experimental stations used for each method, and specifically the element analysis facilities PGAA and the NIPS, and the NORMA and RAD stations for imaging.
The way the techniques work, the research domains they can be used for, and the samples that can be studied, are presented.
