It will include lectures and detailed demonstration of the SteCa software tool to analyse the 2D-detector data of neutron strain scanner STRESS-SPEC and x-ray materials diffractometers, to obtain peak positions, widths, and intensities, which will then be exported and processed to calculate strains/stress and texture. This workshop is intended to train scientists in the treatment of neutron (and X-ray) imaging data using popular software such as ImageJ, TomoPy and VGStudio Max. The lectures and practical sessions with neutron data examples will provide the essential tools necessary for the efficient use of the software at a beginner’s level.
